Pityriasis Versicolor

Tinea versicolor

Pityriasis versicolor (earlier called as tinea versicolor) is a condition caused by overgrowth of some resident fungi of the normal human skin. It is more commonly seen during humid weather in the adolescent age group.

For a person having Pityriasis Versicolor, it is best to wear loose clothes, avoid oily skin products & regularly wash & dry the affected skin.
